Redesigned in 2023, the Portax K, offers a front bow and roof that takes advantage of advancements in aerodynamics. Design changes brought out a wider front bow with roomier tack locker – taller for more storage. The top of the tack locker has smooth edges, designed to reduce the chance of cribbing on the locker. It also offers drainage in its curvy top, making it easier to spray off and clean. A wider bow also means more room for the taller horses!
A further addition to the Portax K are two large magnetic panel holders. These magnets will secure the rear panel in an open position making it easier to load on your own. Also an advantage if you are tacking up on the trailer!

This is a wonderful trailer if you travel alone. Easy to load your horse using either the ramp or step-up option. When you arrive, open your front ramp, drop the chest bar and walk your horse out the front. No more undoing the trailer tie and running to the rear of the trailer to unload. A sporty trailer for both English and Western rider alike!

Anodizing prevents corrosion and pitting- no need to acid wash this trailer! Supported by a galvanized steel frame and chassis, the aluminum floor panels keep road heat from your horses. The independent braking system means your trailer constantly adjusts its speed to the tow vehicle’s. The elite WCF Suspension leaves the road chatter at the road.

A swivel out saddle rack for both English & Western saddles that you can access from both sides of the trailer. An integrated coupler locks keep your trailer safe from theft. Safety first for our horses with adjustable stall bars to ensure a comfortable stall fit. Added side wall pads, chest bar foam covers and bright white interior create a comfortable space. Smooth surfaces and rounded corners reduces opportunity for injury. Even the curved door handle designs reduce tangles with lead lines. Tinted pop-out windows, an optional roof vent + a built in wind screen increase air flow through the trailer.
Your horses balance themselves more easily and can clear their sinuses during transit because of lower trailer tie positions. Pop-out tinted windows protect horse’s eyes while bringing fresh air into the trailer. A patented external stall release system – MSS Safety System (MSS) keeps everyone safe in an Emergency.
The 5′ ramp provides a lower incline and a larger platform for a horse to stand with all 4 feet on the same plane. Patented rubber treading on the entry ramp to reduce slipping in rain and snow. This feature makes an easier entry and exit for young and old alike.
Built for longevity
Protected against rust and corrosion with the hot-dipped galvanized chassis frame and anodized aluminum extruded wall panels. Steel is galvanized or stainless. The roof is made of polyester which reduces total trailer weight. Polyester not only reflects the sun’s heat but it can be shaped to the latest in aerodynamic design.
Other trailer materials are also resistant to water. The aluminum plank flooring has a 20 yr Warranty ( since 2023). The floor planks are fully covered by rubber matting, glued to the floor and sealed to the walls. No mats to pull out and clean under.
