This is a wonderful trailer if you trailer alone. Easy to load your horse using either the ramp or step-up option. When you arrive, open your front ramp, drop the chest bar and walk your horse out the front. No more undoing the trailer tie and running to the rear of the trailer to unload.  A sporty trailer for both English and Western rider alike!

The Portax K offers the front walk-off ramp to the safer curbside of the trailer. This feature makes an easier exit for young and old alike. The bright internal space is welcoming. Your horses balance themselves more easily, and can clear their sinuses during transit, because of lower trailer tie positions.  The standard Roof Vent draws air into the trailer, over that unique aerodynamic design. Two lateral, sliding and tinted windows draw even more fresh air into the trailer. You control the degree of air flow using the rear storm canvas with integrated wind screen.

The patented external stall release system (MSS) keeps everyone safe in an Emergency. The 5′ ramp provides a lower incline and a larger platform for a horse to be able to stand with all 4 feet on the same plane.  Your horse learned on a step-up first? No problem! Robust design for longevity

The galvanized chassis frame and anodized aluminum extruded wall panels are protected against rust and corrosion. A uniquely designed polyester roof changes the air flow reducing drag and sway behind a bumper-pull trailer. This design plus only 4% of towed weight leaning on the trailer and self-adjusting mechanical brakes, make a Böckmann horse trailer the perfect fit behind a mid-size SUVs.

A self-adjusting overrun (mechanical) braking system by KNOTT,  plus CFF shocks on independent torsion suspension creates a smooth quiet ride for your precious cargo. Knott’s elite 2″ coupler with integrated coupler lock, able to swivel around the ball, provides security both in transit and when your trailer is parked. Wheel chocks are provided with every Böckmann trailer for long term parking.

Built on hot galvanized steel chassis, the aluminum plank flooring has a 20 yr Warranty, and is fully covered by rubber matting, glued to the floor and sealed to the walls. Protected metals will not degrade at the rate of raw or painted metals, that are left untreated. Built with Anodized Aluminum wall panels wall (internal air pocket as insulator), care has been taken to keep the internal stall temperature as low as possible on hot summer days. The elite WCF Chassis (Coil Spring suspension to automotive standards), keeps the road chatter at the road.

Safety and innovation

Trailering is not any easier than this! Standard safety features like a mounted full spare wheel, wheel chocks, and hand brake to aid hitching. An integrated coupler lock is included in a rotating coupler.
